Planning an Adventure? Consider Costa Rica!

If you are planning a vacation and are bored with the typical overdone vacation spots in Florida, Jamacia, and the Bahamas – with their crowds and concrete – why not consider
Costa Rica?

A  relaxing place where you can get close to nature, swim, hike the rainforests, scuba,  snorkel, or just sit back and enjoy the scenery and wildlife.   Costa Rica offers so much and they say it is unspoiled the way
Hawaii was 10 years ago.

The local people –Ticos – are wonderful. They speak English and they want you to love their country as much as they do.    They go out of their way to make you comfortable.   A refreshing change from the sometimes surly hotel staff at many
US hotels.

The country has a warm sunny climate, with miles of beautiful Pacific beaches and the ocean is warm.   Locally grown food is wonderful – seafood including shrimp, lobster, tuna, tilapia, mahi mahi harvested right from the seas, and the freshest fruit including pineapple like you have never tasted, plus coconut, and mango, that are not to be missed. Meals are affordable, as are hotels and local taxis.

Consider flying into
Liberia, as it is just 20 minutes from a string of lovely north Pacific coast beaches.   You can fly direct from many cities such as Chicago, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Miami, Houston,
Dallas. It is about a 4 ½ hour flight.

One location I’ve stayed at and is available now is at Playa del Coco and  can be found on-line at  http://www.vrbo.com/156468.
