If you enjoy flying kites by the lake, then join Mayor Daley’s Office of Special Events on Saturday, May 1! Mayor Daley is hosting the annual Kids & Kites Festival from 10am to 4pm at Montrose and Lake Shore Drive. Kite kits will be available while supplies last. Strolling entertainment will be provided. Free fun for all ages!
St. Benedict Women’s Book Club will be hosting its annual Used Book Sale on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from approximately 9am-1pm in the Social Center which is located at the corner of Bell and Irving Park Road. For only $5.00 you can purchase as many books as you can fit in a Book Sale bag! All proceeds benefit the libraries of the Schools of St. Benedict. What a great way to stock up on your summer reading for the whole family.
