ENJOY THE DAWNING OF SUMMER AT MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL IN CHICAGO’S ROSEHILL NEIGHBORHOOD

Celebrate the beginning of summer at the Midsummer Festival in Chicago’s Rosehill neighborhood nestled between Andersonville and Lincoln Square.   The family festivities will take place on Bryn Mawr Avenue between Western Avenue and Lincoln Avenue this weekend, June 18-20, 2010.

The Midsummer Festival celebrates the Summer Solstice which is the longest day of the year, June 21st.   The Midsummer Festival is celebrating its inaugural event with the following hours:

Friday, June 18th from 6pm-10pm
Saturday, June 19th from 12pm – 10pm
Sunday, June 20th from 12pm-8pm

There will be live music, arts and crafts, children’s activities, food, and beer and wine for the adults.   Proceeds will benefit St. Philip Lutheran School which has been a neighborhood fixture for many years.
